Using the igus Robolink DP robotic arm, the complete spring installation process was successfully automated. For applications requiring springs to be lightly fixed for subsequent assembly steps, a SCARA robot was tested as a cost-effective and simple implementation option, demonstrating its versatility in handling lighter tasks while maintaining precision.
