Fairino FR5-WML | 6DOF | 1900 mm | 5kg
Nuestros destacados
)
Extended Reach for Large Workspaces
The Fairino FR5-WML combines a 5 kg payload with a 1900 mm reach, allowing it to cover significantly larger work areas than many robots in its class. Its extended working range enables access to multiple stations, workpiece carriers, or machines from a single installation point. This reduces the need for additional linear axes or extra robots while simplifying automation system design. With six degrees of freedom and installation in virtually any orientation, the cobot can be flexibly adapted to a wide range of production concepts. Users particularly benefit from extensive workspace coverage within a compact robot cell for material handling, CNC machine tending, packaging, and pick-and-place applications.

Open Integration for PLCs, Fieldbuses, and Developers
The FR5-WML is designed for seamless integration into existing automation environments. It supports Ethernet, TCP/IP, Modbus TCP, and Modbus RTU as standard. In addition, industrial communication protocols such as PROFINET, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, and CC-Link are available as optional features. This enables integration with control systems from Siemens, Beckhoff, Rockwell, Codesys, and B&R. For developers, FAIRINO provides an open software architecture with SDKs for Python, C#, and C++. Support for ROS and ROS2 further simplifies implementation in research, development, and advanced automation projects. As a result, users benefit from extensive connectivity and customization options at both the PLC and software levels.

Easy Commissioning and Flexible Operation
The FR5-WML offers several user-friendly options for programming and operation. A 10.1-inch teach pendant allows direct setup and adjustment of motion sequences at the machine. In addition, the robot can be operated through a browser-based web application, enabling access to functions and settings without requiring dedicated software installation. Drag-and-drop programming makes it easier to get started with robotics and reduces the effort required for routine modifications. At the same time, the open interface architecture provides the flexibility needed for more sophisticated automation concepts. This makes the cobot suitable for both users with limited robotics experience and system integrators looking to implement customized process workflows.

Designed for Advanced Welding Applications
In addition to standard handling tasks, the FR5-WML has been specifically engineered for welding applications. The cobot supports MIG, TIG, and laser welding processes and includes welding-specific features such as Arc Tracking and Seam Tracking. These functions help compensate for workpiece deviations and manufacturing tolerances during operation, ensuring consistent processing quality. The 360° rotation of the sixth axis increases flexibility when approaching complex welding positions and simplifies access to hard-to-reach areas. Combined with TCP speeds of up to 2 m/s and repeatability of ±0.1 mm, the robot is well suited for a wide range of welding operations as well as automated manufacturing processes that demand both agility and process stability.

Matching accessories and complete solutions from a single source
The Fairino FR5-WML is available through the RBTX platform not only as a standalone robot but also as the foundation for a complete automation solution with matching accessories. Users can combine the cobot with grippers, machine vision systems, force-torque sensors, and other compatible automation components to implement a wide range of material handling, inspection, and assembly applications. This modular approach allows hardware components to be selected and tailored to specific application requirements. In addition, RBTX supports the configuration of complete robotic systems, from hardware selection to fully integrated automation solutions based on the FR5-WML. This provides companies with a single point of contact for robotics, peripherals, and system integration while reducing the effort required for planning, procurement, and implementation of automation projects.
