ReBeLMove: The Person-Safe AMR

The ReBeLMove is an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) that stands out due to its non-deactivatable safety technology and its benefits.

  • Cost advantage: Comparable AMRs start at around €50,000.
  • Very simple implementation thanks to intuitive app.
  • Possibility to communicate via virtual (REST API) and physical IoT devices. Jobs, gates, conveyor technology and other devices can be triggered.
  • Integrated fleet management enables effective operation.
  • 8 hours operating time.
  • 50kg load capacity + up to 100 kg pull weight realisable.

Even in push mode and when docking at stations, all safety features remain active. These include: Safety laser scanner, dual-channel emergency stop, encoders on the motors and brakes on both motors. With a Performance Level D (PLd), the ReBeLMove navigates freely in space and independently searches for a free path. The safety technology can intervene at any time and stop the robot. If the ReBeLMove detects an object in front of it, it tries to avoid it. If the object comes too close and breaches the safety areas (safety fields), the brakes engage and bring the vehicle to a stop.

Fleet management is distributed among the autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), which communicate with each other via WLAN. This does not require a large bandwidth. The AMRs can also drive routes offline as long as there are no encounters and only require Wi-Fi for order placement. Alternatively, external VDA5050 fleet managers such as idealworks, Naise, MHP or Kinexon can be used.
